![]() my concerns are mostly aesthetic, though. I'm not saying it's bad, but if it ain't broke. In terms of gameplay, I'm still learning some of the newer cards (and frankly some of the older ones since effects were added to some), but why were mulligans changed from 2 to 3? Why do I now draw after certain turns? The game just seems completely different. Is that a change that was really necessary? Another example- Poor Fucking Infantry is now just Poor Infantry. I think all of these were changed without need, and are now less pleasing than the original. ![]() Some of these are aesthetic, as with the soundtrack, longer cards (I think they look sharper) and interface in The Witcher III. While some of these changes certainly seem to be positive (more cards, and more effects, for instance), I can't help but wish they would have left certain things alone. So I got access to the Beta today on Xbox One, and as I began to play noticed some rather significant differences between Gwent the standalone game and Gwent the game that I invested hours upon hours into in The Witcher III universe.
